Coach transfer on arrival to go to your hotel. Check in time is after 2:00 PM. If necessary you can leave your luggage in storage and you can start exploring Florence. The remainder of the day at leisure.
In the morning: 4-hour guided walking tour of the city including a visit of the Academia Museum, where you will see the famous sculpture of David by Michelangelo. then you will proceed to the Uffizi Gallery with its priceless masterpieces. Afternoon at leisure.
Full day at leisure in Florence. Choose to explore more of the city or take public transportation to Siena or Pisa.
Departure by coach after breakfast to drive to Assisi, the town of San FrancIsco, Patron Saint of Italy: guided walking tour including the Basilica of San FrancIsco and the Basilica of Santa Chiara. In the afternoon, continue on to Orvieto (87 km away) where you will spend the night.
Morning guided walking tour of Orvieto: learn about the Etruscan origin and the Middle Age history of this Umbrian town. Continue to Rome where you will check into the hotel and start exploring the city.
Coach transfer to the Vatican. Meet your guide for a 3 hour walking tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Afternoon at leisure to visit Trastevere on your own.
