In March 2018, we had the pleasure of traveling with Celestial Voyagers to Sicily and Malta with the PSU Brandywine group.  To say we had a wonderful time is an understatement.  Francoise, our tour organizer, and guide did a fantastic job of making our trip pleasant and inspirational.  Even when we had a delay due to mother nature, she picked up the sticks and made the trip a formidable experience.  The guides she hired to show us the local culture and adventure were personable and knowledgeable.  Overall, it was a fun-filled, organized and executed trip.  We learned so much and had a great and engaging experience.

We have been using them for 15 plus years.  The majority of their business is academic study abroad.

I cannot say enough great things about Francoise Cornu and her staff.  They serve many colleges in the Mid-Atlantic reason.  Additionally, they can make academic contacts for you if you do not have them.  One year – we had a group of microbiology students traveling to Paris and they set up a lecture on the microbiology of cheese in a wonderful cheese shop in Paris, complete with a tasting to amplify the learning experience and the differences in the cheese.

Known for expertise in academic travel, I was delighted to learn that Celestial Voyagers will help design and organize specialized tours for very small groups or even individuals as well. Researching edible flowers for my recent book, I was pleased with the detailed and comprehensive plan for our trip to Oaxaca, Mexico for the Day of the Dead celebration which focused on our specific requirements. Having little experience in making group travel arrangements and leading a travel group, I thought is might be difficult to put together a special interest trip to Oaxaca, Mexico for the Day of the Dead Celebration for paranormal enthusiasts, but Francoise Cornu and Celestial Voyagers helped me make it happen. Traveling with Penn State Harrisburg on the spring break study tours was one of the best experiences of my life. It is amazing to experience parts and cultures of the world that I have never seen before. It has fueled my passion and love for travel that I know I will continue throughout my life. I have traveled with the university to Spain and Rome. These two trips were very exceptional, and I loved every minute of them. This coming year I hope to travel again with them to a new exciting destination. As for the Celestial Voyagers, they were a beat above the rest. The tours that they had planned for us were fantastic. It was breathtaking to see the inside of the Sistine Chapel in Rome and climb to the top of a mosque turned cathedral in Spain. All of the tour guides that they had arranged for were very professional but at the same time very personable. I love traveling with Penn State and Celestial Voyagers and cannot wait to do it again in the spring of 2018.

When I traveled to Spain and Guatemala for my one week study tour experiences, it allowed me to gain an understanding of the country’s culture and language. I was able to use what I learned in my language classes and apply it in a real world setting. I saw the difference between the countries and the United States on many different aspects from the food, to the people, and the environment. I think that CelestialVoyagers provided all the things that we needed to have a great trip. The programs that they created truly enhanced our educational experiences.

I had a great experience traveling with Celestial Voyagers. This was my first time traveling internationally. Because of this program I got to see the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, various artworks by famous artists, and so much more. The tour guide, Roberta, was excellent. She was very informational and made you feel right at home. She covered a lot of information about each site we visited, but it was all worth taking in. Roberta also gave us suggestions about what places to try. She also told as to be careful of certain areas in Rome and to be aware of our surroundings. I would definitely travel with CelestialVoyagers again. They provided me with an amazing experience as well as value to my education.
